Our History
N.S. Pawliuk & Son Contracting Limited (NSP) was founded in 1945 by Nicholas “Sandy” Pawliuk in Edmonton, Alberta. Originally a sewer, water and earth moving contracting company, NSP grew to over 300 employees in the 1950s.
After Sandy’s sudden death in 1962, Sandy’s son Steve took the reigns. NSP continued to provide large-scale earthworks and underground services and began to specialize in river crossings, road boring and hot tapping.
Garry Pawliuk purchased the company in 1987 and focused on providing hot taps, valve insertions and linestops.
Today, NSP offers these specialized services to customers across Canada from two locations.
Notable Projects Performed by N.S. Pawliuk:
-
Hot taps to provide drinking water for the Roger Place Arena in Edmonton
-
Hot taps to provide drinking water for the Saskatchewan Roughriders Stadium in Regina
-
Live valve insertions within the Banff Springs Hotel
-

-
