These hot taps were performed in a waste water treatment facility
-
N.S. Pawliuk workers are trained in all common industrial hazards, required as part of access to this site.
-
Low-clearance and lightweight equipment was used to allow for the hot taps to be completed on a job site with limited space, difficult entry and no hydraulic power source.
Key Points
-
This hot tap was performed with no disruption of service to the hot tapped pipe.
-
This hot tap was performed within a water treatment processing facility.
-
As with all hot taps, the tapping assembly and valve were pressure tested to ensure no leaks would have occurred once the cutter penetrated the pipe.
